A science museum which promotes the dialogue between science and society


Germany

 Stiftung Deutsches Hygiene-Museum
 A science museum which promotes discussion on the trends in science and research

Greece

   Eugenides Foundation
An independent, non-profit welfare organisation with a mission to enhance the scientific, technological and technical education of the Greek youth and to promote science and technology to the wider public


Hungary

   University of Debrecen, Medical and Health Science Centre
One of the focal points of medical research in Hungary. Several of its basic science and clinical departments carry out brain research


Italy

       Fondazione IDIS Città della Scienza
A non-profit making organisation whose Science Centre aims to establish a  dialogue between science and society


The Netherlands

  Rathenau Institute
An independent organisation established and financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science whose task is to support the formation of public and political opinion with respect to developments in science and technology


United Kingdom

       Science Museum’s Dana Centre
The Dana Centre is the Museum's new venue for adults to discuss contemporary science and has become a national focus of public engagement with science activities
 

University of Westminster
The centre for the study of democracy (CSD) at the UoW are providing scientific and methodological advice






 

The initiative has the support of the European Commission under the 6th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development in the European Union. The European Commission's plan for the European Research Area envisages greater interaction between scientists and stakeholders, including citizens, in research and development and related policy-making
