Science Museum's Dana Centre - UK partner in Meeting of Minds project

The Science Museum's Dana Centre - the UK’s only venue for adults to discuss contemporary and controversial science - has been selected to run the UK arm alongside eleven other respected and independent institutions across Europe.

The Dana Centre will be organising a series of public events in autumn 2005 to get to the heart of some of the issues and concerns raised by Meeting of Minds.

The Dana Centre is a stylish, purpose-built venue, complete with a cafèbar, appealing to adults. It is a place for them to take part in exciting, informative and innovative debates about contemporary science, technology and culture.

The Dana Centre is a collaboration between the Science Museum, the BA (British Association for the Advancement of Science) and The European Dana Alliance for the Brain (EDAB) making it unrivalled in its expertise and depth of knowledge of scientific and technological fields. The Centre is housed in the Wellcome Wolfson Building alongside the headquarters of the BA, EDAB and Science Museum offices.
